Anna and Caroline are making fairy muffins. It is a recipe they got in a book from Minnesota granny. Everything was measured in grams and ounces. We had to do a lot of converting. That should have been a clue. It seems to me that 1/4 c. of flour in a batch of muffins is not quite enough, so we looked through other recipes that looked equivalent in amounts and added about 1 cup more flour. They looked like rocks before Anna put them in the oven. In any case, they could taste more like fairy scones. Anna is so proud of her work. I'm proud of her too. Do you want us to send some to Minnesota?

Hey there! I would LOVE to have some Fairy muffins! How soon can you send them? I'm still waiting for some of your snow! Maybe you could pack some snow in with the fairy muffins!?! ;o)
